Jets trade with Patriots, add sixth-round pick

The Jets traded the No. 112 overall pick to the New England Patriots for Nos. 120 and 184.

The trade allows the Jets to pick up a later pick, now giving them a pick in the sixth round. They came into day three with no picks in rounds six or seven. The Jets now have one pick in the fourth (No. 120), two in the fifth (Nos. 143 and 170) and one in the sixth (No. 184).

The Patriots selected Maryland kicker Chad Ryland with the No. 112 pick.
