Jets release Cedric Ogbuehi

The Jets have released offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi, per ESPN’s Field Yates.

The Jets just had just re-signed Ogbuehi, who started five games in 2022, three weeks ago. Since then, the Jets added veteran Billy Turner and drafted Carter Warren. Duane Brown, Mekhi Becton and Max Mitchell are also still in the mix at tackle.

The Jets also drafted center Joe Tippmann in the second round, so their line depth is much stronger than it was a few weeks ago, making Ogbuehi the odd man out.
