The Jets elevated quarterback Chris Streveler and offensive tackle Conor McDermott off the practice squad Saturday, ahead of Week 8's game against the New England Patriots.

The 6-foot-1, 216-pound Streveler joins an active New York roster that already includes three quarterbacks -- starter Zach Wilson, backup Joe Flacco and third-string Mike White.

McDermott, meanwhile, returns to the 53-man after being released Oct. 17 and signed to the practice squad the following day. The 6-foot-8, 305-pounder -- whom Gang Green originally signed in March -- has appeared in four games this season, including 76 offensive snaps. McDermott, 30, started 3 of 6 games with the Jets in 2021.

Streveler, on the other hand, gained notoriety in the preseason while leading six touchdowns on nine drives -- including three comeback wins. The 27-year-old logged seven regular-season games with the Arizona Cardinals from 2020-21, completing 17 of 25 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown to an interception.

The Jets (5-2) host the Patriots (3-4) Sunday at 1 p.m. from MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
