During their game against the Panthers, the Jets have ruled out LB Jamien Sherwood, S Lamarcus Joyner and P Braden Mann.

First, Mann went out with a left knee brace after making a punt and having a Panthers special teamer run his helmet into that knee. Kicker Matt Ammendola has been doing a solid job making up for Mann's loss with good, directional punts.

Sherwood is dealing with a foot injury. Robert Saleh had much faith in Sherwood to work alongside C.J. Mosley at linebacker. However, he was out before he could see that tandem mature.

And then another new face, Joyner, comes out of the safety position. This was his first game making the transition to his new position after normally playing the slot in the past.

Finally, LT Mekhi Becton is doubtful to return now. The Jets' offensive line has been having a brutal day and this only makes things worse if he is deemed out.
