New England parted ways with wide receiver Xavier Ubosi and offensive lineman Calvin Anderson on Monday to make room for newly-acquired Dontrelle Inman and Jared Veldheer. New York picked both Ubosi and Anderson up on Tuesday.

This is good news for the Pats. Since the Jets claimed them off waivers instead of waiting for them hit free agency, it frees up a total of $35,000 in dead cap.

The Patriots also locked up their first-round draft pick N'Keal Harry, so consider Tuesday a productive day for New England.
