Winnipeg Jets forward Bryan Little will miss the rest of the 2019-20 season due to injury. Little suffered a perforated eardrum and vertigo symptoms after taking a slapshot from teammate Nikolaj Ehlers to the side of the head.

Little will have a procedure done to help repair his eardrum that is accompanied by a recovery time of three months.

The 32-year-old also needed 25-30 stitches to close a laceration near his ear which resulted from the same play.

Prior to suffering his injury, the former Barrie Colt tallied two goals and five points across seven games.

Little has played 13 seasons in the NHL and has recorded 217 goals and 521 points across 843 career contests.
