Jennifer Lopez got fired for the best reason from a retail job

On Tuesday, the judges from US reality show World of Dance shared stories about jobs they had before becoming celebrities. Jennifer Lopez revealed that long before she was performing at Super Bowl halftime shows, she was performing in retail.

As a teenager, Lopez worked in a clothing store selling jeans. While one can only assume she was a great salesperson, because she’s pretty great everything, she still managed to get fired.

“I just would dance down the aisles too much to the music,” The Jenny From The Block singer admitted.

Luckily for her, Lopez was able to turn that dancing into an incredibly successful career as a musician, actor, and entrepreneur.

Fellow judge Ne-Yo also talked about his pre-fame jobs, and it turns out that long before making people swoon for his music, he made a lot of burgers, pizzas, and tacos.

“I've worked every fast food job imaginable,” said Ne-Yo. “McDonalds, Burger King, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, all of them. And none of them for longer than two weeks.”

Jennifer Lopez's big day with fiancé Alex Rodriguez had to be postponed due to the coronavirus lockdown recently, and the star said the change of plans left her disappointed.
