Jayson Tatum has made the leap to NBA superstardom. The face of the Boston Celtics franchise is in the midst of an MVP-caliber season in which he has led his team to a league-best 30-12 record.

But Tatum's growth isn't only evident on the court. He also has made tremendous strides off of it with a plethora of endorsement deals, making him one of the more recognizable athletes in American sports. Now, he's taking the next step by debuting his signature shoe, the Jordan JT1.

Should Celtics make in-season trade? Five targets worth considering

The JT1 is set for a March 2023 release, according to Sports Illustrated. Here's a peek at what it will look like.

More colorways for the JT1 will be unveiled in the coming weeks and months.

Tatum signed with the Jordan Brand in 2019. He joins Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks) and Ja Morant (Memphis Grizzlies) as young NBA stars who have recently gotten their own signature shoe.

It's a perfect time for Tatum to debut his signature shoe. The three-time All-Star is a lock for a fourth All-Star Game appearance and the Celtics are expected to make another deep postseason run. We'll likely see Tatum wear the JT1s on a number of times on the national stage as Boston looks to make it to the NBA Finals for the second straight year.
