Can Jayson Tatum can elevate his game to MVP level with the Boston Celtics this season?

Can All NBA forward Jayson Tatum can elevate his game to a Most Valuable Player (MVP) level of play with the Boston Celtics this season? In the wake of a wide-ranging end-of-summer interview between Jeff Goodman and Jayson Tatum, renewed attention is being paid to what the St. Louis native has for expectations heading into the ball club’s looming 2023-24 campaign.

With that in mind, what is Tatum’s potential path to MVP consideration? Could it include a boost to his defensive contributions to help make up for the loss of Marcus Smart? And how about the Celtics’ success during the regular season, given the team could have a slow start as all the new additions find their respective roles?

The host of the CLNS Media “Winning Plays” podcast Brian Robb linked up with former co-host and occasional guest Rich Lavine to talk it over on a recent episode.

Check out the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
