Jaylen Ellis forecasts Colorado teammate Omarion Miller to become college football’s best WR

Omarion Miller’s immense talent became known to everyone in Colorado football’s Week 5 loss against USC last season. While leading a furious second-half rally, the true freshman made several improbable catches and finished with 196 receiving yards.

Although he caught only four more passes in the Buffs’ final seven games, Miller’s teammates have confidence that he’ll grow into a solidified star.

Jaylen Ellis, a fellow Colorado wide receiver who saw most of his action last season on special teams, gave some high praise to Miller on Friday. In a quote tweet, Ellis tabbed Xavier Weaver (Zay) as one of the best wide receivers he’s been around and added that Miller is “gonna be the best WR in CFB.”

Based on what we saw last September, Miller certainly has the skills to reach Ellis’ expectations. However, he’ll have to compete for playing time in a Colorado wide receivers room that has added transfers Will Sheppard, LaJohntay Wester, Cordale Russell and Terrell Timmons Jr. this offseason.
