William Jenkins, the older brother of New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins, is reportedly a person of interest in the case of the man found dead at Janoris’ home on Tuesday.

According to TMZ, the District Attorney of Ontario County, N.Y., James Ritts, says police in Bergen County, N.J. want to speak with William Jenkins.

Jenkins is not a suspect in the death of 25-year-old Roosevelt Rene, the man whose body was reportedly found in the basement of Janoris’ home in Fair Lawn, N.J.

Rene was a music producer known as Trypps Beatz.

According to jail records, William Jenkins was arrested in New York on Tuesday on an unrelated parole warrant.

Ritts said there will be an extradition process to get Jenkins from Ontario County, in western New York, to Bergen County.

Janoris Jenkins has been in Florida since Giants mini-camp broke last week and is being advised to remain there as the investigation into Rene’s death continues.
