How do Jameson Williams, John Metchie rank among WRs in 2022 NFL draft class

Former Alabama players are set to enter the 2022 NFL draft, which will begin in just a few days. Jameson Williams and John Metchie are two former Crimson Tide wide receivers who will soon figure out where they will start their NFL careers.

Both wide receivers suffered devastating knee injuries in the postseason, which may have hurt their original projected landing spots. Regardless of the injuries, they are likely to be drafted in the first and second round, respectively.

Luke Easterling of the Draft Wire revealed his rankings for the wide receivers in this 2022 class. Williams and Metchie are ranked highly in the group.

Williams is a legitimate deep threat that is an excellent pass-catcher, route-runner and is fast enough to beat almost any defensive back off the line.

Next … John Metchie

John Metchie is a legitimate WR1 prospect. Entering his junior season in 2021, Metchie had the most playing experience on the team and did not shy away from sharing the spotlight with Williams. Metchie will likely be a second or third-round selection, which will be great value for whoever drafts him.
