James Harden posts 32-point triple double in Nets debut
The James Harden era in Brooklyn has begun, and it already looks quite like the James Harden era in Houston.
The star guard notched 32 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds to record a triple-double in his debut with the Nets, who win 122-115 over the Orlando Magic. Kevin Durant also seemed to enjoy playing with Harden, dropping 42 points with plenty of help from his current and former teammate.
Harden waited until late in the first quarter to score his first Nets points, employing his signature shot:

The highlights were about what you would expect from one of the NBA’s most distinctive players.

Harden landed in Brooklyn via a four-team trade that sent out Nets players Caris LeVert and Jarrett Allen plus a boat load of draft pick compensation to the Houston Rockets.
Harden made few friends on his way out of Houston, but ended up getting what he wanted with a spot on the contending Nets. He was clearly happy to be there.
The Nets will still have to wait to see their fully functional big 3, as Kyrie Irving remains away from the team after taking a sabbatical from the team for personal reasons.
