Jalin Hyatt wins the 2022 Blanchard-Rogers Trophy

Former Tennessee wide receiver Jalin Hyatt continues to collect accolades after his record-setting 2022 season.

Hyatt was named the 2022 Blanchard-Rogers Trophy recipient, which is awarded to South Carolina’s most outstanding college football player. It is widely considered the South Carolina Heisman Memorial Trophy.

Hyatt is from Irmo, South Carolina, and led Dutch Fork High School to consecutive 5A state championships in 2018-19. He is the school’s all-time leader in receiving yards (3,624) and receiving touchdowns (57).

He finished the 2022 season with 67 receptions, 1,267 receiving yards and 15 receiving touchdowns at Tennessee. Hyatt became the first player in school history to win the Biletnikoff Award last season. He was a unanimous first-team All-American selection.

Hyatt holds Tennessee’s team records for touchdown receptions, points scored and single-season receiving touchdowns.
