Jaguars WR Zay Jones misses practice again Thursday

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Zay Jones was again a non-participant in practice Thursday.

On Wednesday, Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson told reporters that Jones — along with offensive lineman Walker Little and cornerback Tyson Campbellwould all be at practice. While Little and Campbell have been limited the last two days, Jones hasn’t been on the field.

The Jaguars’ Thursday injury report heading into a Week 8 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers mirrors the one that was released Wednesday. While quarterback Trevor Lawrence has now been limited in back-to-back practices, there’s no doubt about his status for Sunday after the third-year quarterback played last week in worse circumstances against the New Orleans Saints.

For the Steelers, there were a few concerns as three players — Diontae Johnson, Larry Ogunjobi, Joey Porter Jr. — popped up with new injuries:

The fourth new name on the list is defensive lineman Cameron Heyward, who is still on the team’s injured reserve and was back at practice after the team opened his 21-day window to return Thursday.
