The Mets fell to the Marlins, 3-0, at Citi Field on Saturday.

With the final game of the series on Sunday, here's what happened in Mets Land on Saturday, in case you missed it.

- Jacob deGrom was absolutely stellar in his second start of the season, striking out 14 Marlins and allowing just a solo homer to Jazz Chisholm. But the Mets, once again, didn't muster any offense to help him out.

- Alex Rodriguez and billionaire Marc Lore finalized a deal to become the new owners of the Minnesota Timberwolves, just months after losing out on Mets ownership to Steve Cohen.

- DeGrom and Luis Rojas discussed the disappointing loss to the Marlins, with Rojas flat out calling deGrom's start a "waste" because of how good he was.

- In the latest Shea Anything podcast, Keith Hernandez takes a look at the Mets' early offense so far this season.

- After getting hit in the hand with a pitch against the Phillies, J.D. Davis has now been placed on the 10-day IL with a right hand contusion.

- Acting GM Zack Scott gave an update on the Mets' COVID-19 vaccination rate as well as Noah Syndergaard's status in his Tommy John rehab.

- Speaking of Syndergaard, he threw live batting practice in Port St. Lucie on Saturday.
