Schedule: Mon vs. MTL, Fri vs. STL, Sun at STL
Hellebuyck is one of the few goalies that has an opportunity to make three starts next week. The Jets goalie has dropped back to back games and three of his last four. He owns a 16-10-2 record with a 2.53 goals-against-average and a .924 save percentage this season.
Frederik Andersen – Toronto Maple Leafs
Schedule: Mon vs. CAR, Fri at NJ, Sat vs. NYR
Andersen heads into this weekend as the wins leader in the NHL (his 18 victories are two ahead of Braden Holtby). The Leafs netminder should get two games over the holiday week. He owns a 2.52 goals-against-average and a .919 save percentage this season.
Schedule: Tue vs. WSH, Fri at BUF, Sun vs. BUF
The Bruins are going through a very rough patch and Rask has dropped each of his last five outings (0-2-3). The Bruins are too good of a team for this slide to go on much longer. Expect them to turn things around in a hurry.
Andrei Vasilevskiy – Tampa Bay Lightning
Schedule: Mon vs. FLA, Sat vs. MTL, Sun vs. DET
Vasilevskiy’s still not playing up to his standards, but there’s been some improvement in his game. He has a 14-9-2 record with a 2.88 goals-against-average and a .906 save percentage this season. He’ll get at least two home games next week.
Braden Holtby – Washington Capitals
Schedule: Mon at BOS, Fri vs. CBJ, Sat at CAR
Holtby is second in the league in wins and he should have two more opportunities to pad those stats next week. The 30-year-old has a 16-4-4 record with a 2.82 goals-against-average and a .909 save percentage.
Marc-Andre Fleury – Vegas Golden Knights
Schedule: Mon vs. COL, Fri at ANA, Sat vs. ARZ
Fleury has now gone three games without a loss in regulation. There’s a decent chance he’ll get two or possibly three starts over the next week. He has a 14-7-3 record with a 2.63 goals-against-average and a .915 save percentage this season.
Jordan Binnington – St. Louis Blues
Schedule: Mon at LAK, Fri at WPG, Sun vs. WPG
The Blues will play two games after the holiday break and there will be a day between them, but Jake Allen is expected to get at least one of those games. Binnington has won each of his last three outings.
Carter Hart – Philadelphia Flyers
Schedule: Mon vs. NYR, Sat at SJ, Sun at ANA
Hart has been getting more and more games over the last little while, which is great for his fantasy stock. He’s won back-to-back games and he’s given up just two goals in those two contests. He owns a 12-7-3 record with a 2.33 goals-against-average and a .912 save percentage.
Mackenzie Blackwood – New Jersey Devils
Schedule: Mon at CHI Fri vs. TOR, Sun at OTT
Blackwood has won two of his last three games, but the Devils just aren’t good. It’s tough to imagine things getting much better for them after the holiday break. He’s someone to avoid in fantasy going forward.
Alexandar Georgiev – New York Rangers
Schedule: Mon at PHI, Fri vs. CAR, Sat at TOR
Georgiev has been getting the majority of the starts recently, but that doesn’t mean he’ll have much fantasy value. The 23-year-old has dropped back-to-back games and he’s in tough next week, as the Rangers will play three teams currently in the playoff picture.
