Isotopes batter OK City, end road series with split

SUNDAY: At Oklahoma City, D.J. Peterson doubled and drove in three runs as Albuquerque slugged its way to an 11-5 win over the host Dodgers. It is the first time since April 5, 2019, with Triple-A Charlotte, that the former Lobo has had three RBIs in one game. The two teams split the six-game series.

Ryan Feltner (4-0) earned his fourth straight win. Albuquerque has a 2-2-1 series record over five sets on the year and improved to 4-8 vs. the Dodgers this season. The two teams meet again Sept. 13-18 at Isotopes Park. Elehuris Montero stroked his fifth homer of the year in a 3-for-3 performance and his first homer since April 27.

NEXT HOME GAME: The Isotopes host Sugar Land, Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, for six games beginning Tuesday. First pitch for the opener is 6:35 p.m.
