On Friday, the Islanders announced the signing of forward Anatoli Golyshev to a one-year, two-way deal for the 2020-21 season.

Golyshev was selected in the fourth round, pick No. 95 overall in the 2016 NHL Draft.

The 26-year-old has recorded 12 goals and 15 assists (27 points) with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) this season. He's fifth on team in scoring and tied for third in goals.

In 366 career games with Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg over parts of eight seasons, he's registered 103 goals and 105 assists (208 points). During the 2015-16 season, Golyshev had a career-high 25 goals and 44 points. He finished first on the team in both categories, and third on the team in assists with 19.

Golyshev is a two-time KHL All-Star (2015-16, 2016-17) and has been named KHL Forward of the Month twice in his career.
