After their win over the Rangers on Sunday night, the Islanders announced that they've acquired Braydon Coburn from the Ottawa Senators for a seventh-round pick in 2022.

The 16-year veteran defenseman comes to New York after playing just 16 games this season and recording two assists.

For his career, Coburn has 234 points off 49 goals and 185 assists in 980 games played.

The Islanders made the move as they look to complete their roster ahead of another playoff run. Coburn will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
