Iowa Hawkeyes vs. Drake Bulldogs: TV, stream, broadcast info for Sunday
After its first setback of the season, No. 2 Iowa women’s basketball resumes its season tonight against the Drake Bulldogs (3-0).
The Hawkeyes lost on Thursday against Kansas State, 65-58, in a game where Caitlin Clark shot just 9-of-32 from the floor and only 2-of-16 from 3-point range. As a team, Iowa (3-1) finished shooting just 36.1% from the field and a paltry 9.5% from 3-point distance.
It’s the second season in a row where K-State has knocked off a highly-ranked Hawkeye squad early in the year. But, it’s time to turn the page to Drake and a Bulldogs squad that is off to a nice start to its 2023-24 campaign.
Drake is 3-0 after wins over St. Thomas (94-69), Saint Louis (78-66) and Iowa State (85-73). Four Bulldogs are averaging double-figure scoring, led by graduate forward Grace Berg’s 19.0 points per game.
As Iowa looks to get back on the right track and back to its winning ways, here’s how Hawkeye fans can follow the action tonight.

Scouting Drake
Veteran wing Grace Berg returns to Des Moines for her final season in the blue and white. The Indianola, Iowa native Berg was named to the Preseason All-MVC First Team. Berg currently leads Drake in scoring with 19 points per game and picked up the first MVC Player of the Week award of the season.
Drake point guard Katie Dinnebier will again orchestrate the Bulldog offense and lead the perimeter of Drake’s defense. The junior sparkplug was named to the Preseason All-MVC First Team and Becky Hammon Mid-Major Player of the Year Preseason Watch List. Dinnebier’s 18 assists lead the MVC and she is one of just two players to average 6.0+ per game.
All three of the Bulldogs’ wins have come by a double-digit margin. Drake was an 21-4 in games decided by doubles digits and 1-4 in games decided by 10 points or less last season.
In their most recent tilt, Drake took down in-state foe Iowa State by an 85-73 mar- gin, snapping a two-game Cyclone winning streak. It was Drake’s largest margin of victory over Iowa State since a 61-36 triumph in 2003.
Iowa K-State Postgame Notes
It was Iowa’s 11th sellout in program history.
Clark has netted a 3-point basket in 62 consecutive games which is an NCAA-best.
It was Sydney Affolter’s first start for the Hawkeyes in her 60th career game.
No. 2 Iowa is the highest ranked Big Ten foe to ever play Kansas State, besting UI’s fourth ranked squad from a season ago when these teams met.
