Zimbabwean starts, Basque makes debut

Yesterday three Udinese players were in action for their national teams. Jordan Zamura started for Zimbabwe against Zambia in the Four Nations Tournament. The left-winger played for 72 minutes, offering an attacking threat. The game ended 2-2 after 90 minutes but Zimbabwe prevailed on penalties.

Festy Ebosele also featured for his country, coming on for Ireland in the  86th minute in their friendly match against Belgium. The match ended 0-0, and facing an opponent of this calibre can only benefit the 21-year-old. Oier Zarraga earned his first cap with the Basque Country national team in their match against Uruguay. He featured for half an hour in the 1-1 draw.
