Instant analysis from Eagles 28-22 loss to the Bucs in Week 6

The Eagles fell to 2-4 on the season after losing 28-22 to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home on Thursday night.

What initially looked like a blowout became a hard-fought contest after Hurts and the Eagles mounted a second-half comeback to cut it to six.

Philadelphia had the ball for 9 minutes in the first half, gave Miles Sanders one carry, and logged five 3 and outs.

Eagles putting too much on Jalen Hurts

Hurts was 12 of 26 for 115-yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception, with most of his production coming in the second half.

Brady finished 34 of 42 for 297 yards and an interception.

Davion Taylor has arrived

Taylor got the start at middle linebacker and logged 4 total tackles while showing speed and prowess in pass coverage.

Taylor is still learning on the job and got tricked on a few screens and misdirections, but he played well at times.

Leonard Fournette showed and proved

Fournette (22 carries for 81 yards, two touchdowns) dominated the time of possession on his own and won several battles in the passing game, logging 46 receiving yards as well.
