Injury-riddled Patriots list 6 inactives for Sunday’s game vs Jets

The bad news for the New England Patriots already came with the team ruling out Kyle Dugger, Christian Barmore and captain David Andrews ahead of the Week 8 road trip to take on the New York Jets.

On Sunday, however, it was revealed that Shaun Wade, Kevin Harris and Sam Roberts would be joining the three starters on the list of Patriots inactives.

Not having Dugger and Barmore in the lineup is a huge concern for the Patriots considering how poorly they fared at stopping the run against the Chicago Bears in Week 7. They got absolutely gashed on the ground in the primetime spotlight of Monday Night Football for 243 rushing yards and two touchdowns.

It was a complete meltdown.

Andrews being absent along the offensive front is a problem as well with the unit already struggling amid all of the uncertainties at the quarterback position. Isaiah Wynn is returning to the lineup, but there have been times when he has been more of a detriment than a help to the unit, particularly when it comes to drawing too many penalties.

The Patriots’ offensive line will need their best game of the season to keep Mac Jones upright and knock off a feisty Jets team on the road.
