Injury Report: Updated look at injury news for No. 6 Oregon and ASU
There are just two more regular season games left in the college football season and Oregon has avoided the major injury news that plague most teams this time of year thus far.
Although the Ducks injury report is getting a bit long in the tooth, there aren’t any significant ailments that should keep any players out of this week’s contest with Arizona State.
However, the same can’t be said for Kenny Dillingham’s Sun Devils as they have been hit with a barrage of injuries, including freshman quarterback Jalen Rashada.
ASU’s injuries might have kept them from winning a couple of more games this season, but considering Oregon is fully loaded, the injuries shouldn’t have any impact to the ultimate outcome of the game in Tempe on Saturday.
Here’s the injury list for Week 12.
RB Bucky Irving
Status: Probable
Explainer: Irving suffered an ankle injury against USC, but returned to the game later. The Duck tailback has practiced all week.
OL Jackson Powers-Johnson
Status: Probable
Explainer: The Oregon center suffered an undisclosed injury against the Trojans, but returned to the game. He has, however, practiced in a limited fashion this week leading up to the contest in Tempe.
DB Khyree Jackson
Status: Probable
Explainer: Jackson missed the fourth quarter of the USC game with an undisclosed injury, but has practiced all week.
DB Jahlil Florence
Status: Probable
Explainer: As with Khyree Jackson, Florence also missed the fourth quarter of the USC game with an undisclosed injury, but has practiced all week.
DB Dontae Manning
Status: Probable
Explainer: As with Jackson and Florence, Manning missed part of the fourth quarter of the USC game with an undisclosed injury, but has practiced all week.
DB Bryan Addison
Status: OUT
Explainer: Addison has been away from the team due to personal reasons.
QB Jaden Rashada (ASU)
Status: OUT
Explainer: Arizona State’s freshman quarterback has returned to practice, but Dillingham has said he’s not ready to play this week against the Ducks.
RB DeCarlos Brooks
Status: Questionable
Explainer: Brooks has sat out the previous two games due to a hamstring ailment, and it is up in the air if he will take the field Saturday versus Oregon.
DL Prince Dorbah
Status: Questionable
Explainer: Dorbah missed the last game with a right arm injury, and it remains to be seen if he will battle Oregon on Saturday.
OL Bram Walden
Status: Questionable
Explainer: Walden has been held out of the last two games due to an injury in an uncertain location, and it is unknown if he will play in Saturday’s game against his former team.
