Injury Report: Steph Curry (illness), James Wiseman (wrist), Kevon Looney (ankle) set to return vs. Knicks on Tuesday

Over the previous stretch of 10 games, the Golden State Warriors have rolled without a traditional center. Following James Wiseman’s suffered a sprained wrist, Kevon Looney was sidelined with a sprained ankle injury.

Adding to Golden State’s depleted lineup, Steph Curry was ruled a late scratch against the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday due to not feeling well.

Yet, on Tuesday, the Golden State Warriors’ rotation will be getting much-needed reinforcements. According to Steve Kerr, Curry, Wiseman and Looney will return for the Warriors contest against the New York Knicks.

Alongside Curry, Looney will return to the starting lineup. Draymond Green will likely slide back to a forward role, with Juan Toscano-Anderson moving back to the second unit.

Outside of the starting rotation, Golden State’s trio of returns will impact Steve Kerr’s formerly thin bench. Averaging 12.2 points, on 50.3% shooting from the field, 6.1 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game, Wiseman will add a missed presence in the frontcourt for Golden State’s second unit. Eric Paschall and Toscano-Anderson will have the opportunity to play as forwards instead of staying down low.

Riding a two-game losing streak, the Warriors could desperately use the key returns of Curry and both bigs against potential All-Star Julius Randle and the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday.
