Following an early exit in Game 3 in the fourth quarter after appearing to suffer an injury, Memphis Grizzlies All-Star guard Ja Morant is listed as doubtful with knee soreness for Game 4 on Monday in San Francisco.

On Sunday, Memphis head coach Taylor Jenkins told reporters, “there’s probably a really good chance” Morant won’t play in Game 4 on Monday against the Warriors.

Morant’s injury sparked more drama, with tensions already high between the Warriors and Grizzlies. Jenkins, Morant and the Grizzlies have pointed towards Jordan Poole’s contact with Morant causing his injury.

Following the Grizzlies’ blowout loss in Game 3, Morant took to Twitter with a video of his apparent injury. Morant’s tweet referenced Steve Kerr’s quote about the flagrant foul from Dillon Brooks that injured Gary Payton II.

Through three games in the series, Morant is averaging 38.3 points on 50.6% shooting from the floor with 8.3 assists and 6.7 rebounds in 38.4 minutes per contest against the Warriors.

Without Morant, the Grizzlies will need to lean on players like Brooks, Tyus Jones, Ziaire Williams and Kyle Anderson in the backcourt against the Warriors on the road. Jaren Jackson Jr. and Desmond Bane will need to take over as catalysts of the Memphis offense if Morant is unable to play in Game 4.

Similar to the rest of the series, expect Game 4 to be filled with fireworks.
