Esports organization Immortals has announced that it is parting ways with Adrian “Adrian” Ma, the support player in its League of Legends line-up.

The news was revealed on the Immortals Twitter account Tuesday. He was the first player the organization signed on, shortly after it was founded in October 2015. Adrian will be joining North American team Phoenix1 in the support role. It is not known who will be filling the support role at Immortals in his absence.

Prior to joining Immortals, Adrian was signed to Team Impulse, who enjoyed moderate success in 2015 at the Spring/Summer Splits and Playoffs. However, Riot Games banned the organization from fielding a team in the LCS after allegations of delayed payments to players.

Phoenix1 is a relatively new team, having formed in May this year. The team notably went on to end Team SoloMid’s win streak during the NA LCS Summer Split. Yesterday, Phoenix1 players Austin “Gate” Yu, Brandon “Mash” Phan, and Andrew “Slooshi” Pham announced their respective departures from the team, becoming free agents.

The announcement follows on from news that Immortals’ AD carry Jason “WildTurtle” Tran would be playing with Team SoloMid for IEM Oakland. It is not clear if he will be staying with TSM for the Spring Split.
