- Two for one opportunity here for New York. Quickley zips, takes, hits, plus the foul. Immanuel Quickley is putting on a show.
JARED QUAY: We are six weeks away from the NBA playoffs, and the hardwood is starting to heat up. The Knicks arrived in Boston with an eight-game win streak coming in hot. But with Jalen Brunson out with a foot injury, the Celtics seem primed to play spoiler. Boston looks strong leading by 14 points in the third quarter, but it didn't last long.
- Randle guarded by White. In the corner? You bet! On a difficult corner 3, Julius Randle.
JARED QUAY: The Knicks were up by 11 in the fourth, but that lead evaporated, too.
- Tatum-- oh what a wiggle. Tatum, an incredible duke!
JARED QUAY: And the game went to double overtime. Jayson Tatum dropped 40 points. But Boston could not stop Immanuel Quickley.
- Quickley accelerates, cups, and finishes. Immanuel Quickley!
JARED QUAY: Quickley played in Brunson's place and went off, scoring a career high 38 points to lead the Knicks to a ninth straight victory.
- To the rim!
JARED QUAY: For the first time since being traded out of Brooklyn, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving faced off as the Suns took on the Mavericks, and it did not disappoint.
- Irving into the paint, rejected by Durant.
JARED QUAY: Both guys played great, and this one went down to the wire.
- --with 8 to shoot. Back to KD with 6. Durant driving and Hardaway, pull up jumper. Durant got it, and Phoenix has a 2-point lead! 35 for Durant in just his third game as a Sun.
JARED QUAY: That would prove to be the dagger [INAUDIBLE] of Slim Reaper. With just seconds left on the clock, Devin Booker and Luka Doncic got testy. Got to love NBA fights. Anyways, KD, Booker, Doncic, and Kyrie combine for 137 points, with each guy scoring more than 30.
- Oh my goodness gracious!
JARED QUAY: Las Vegas as a new power couple. Nah, man, Kelsey Plum and Darren Waller.
- Say what now?
JARED QUAY: I didn't know they were dating either, but the Aces' guard and Raiders' tight end got hitched on Saturday. Coach Becky Hammond and the bunch of Kelsey's teammates, including A'ja Wilson were there to cheer her on.
Now, are you guys thinking what I'm thinking? Where do you get people who already have everything? Well, we found what appears to be the couple's wedding registry with Target.
- Heavenly shopping, down to Earth prices.
JARED QUAY: Their registry has cleaning supplies, shower items, kitchen organizers. Kelsey and Darren are just like the rest of us, except rich.
