CHAMPAIGN — Two Big Ten wins and enough losses from top 10 teams helped Illinois move up four spots to No. 10 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 released early Monday afternoon.

The Illini (14-4, 5-2 Big Ten) won big last week in league play with a 15-point road win at Michigan and a 23-point victory Sunday afternoon at State Farm Center. Losses by Wisconsin, Baylor and Memphis — all ranked ahead of Illinois a week ago — also helped the Illini jump to No. 10 in the latest poll.

The Big Ten still has three ranked teams. Purdue held steady at No. 2, while Wisconsin dropped to No. 13. Michigan State was the only Big Ten team among in the "others receiving votes" category.
