'I'd rather be up here:' Urban Meyer remembers Ohio State football's 2017 loss to Iowa

Urban Meyer's tour through the Big Ten with FOX's "Big Noon Kickoff" continued Saturday, bringing the former Ohio State head football coach back to Iowa City for the first time since the Buckeyes' loss to Iowa in 2017.

And it was something the crowd and his fellow co-hosts would not let Meyer forget.

"You're last trip to Iowa City, how did it go for you?" "Big Noon Kickoff host Rob Stone said to begin the broadcast, leading to cheers from Hawkeye fans before Iowa's matchup with No. 4 Michigan.

"I'd rather be sitting up here," Meyer said. "Don't undervalue that stadium. It's one of the most difficult stadiums in college football. Great fanbase. Last time we were here, I'm glad I'm sitting up here."

After a Week 2 loss to Oklahoma at home, Ohio State won each of its first four games against Big Ten opponents, including a home meeting with No. 2 Penn State Oct. 28, before falling to Iowa on the road 55-24.

"They are still trying to cover Noah Fant and T.J. Hockenson," former Notre Dame quarterback and Columbus native Brady Quinn joked with Meyer.

Ohio State allowed 125 yards and four touchdowns on nine receptions to Hockenson and Fant.
