A questionable call against the Mets and a questionable call by the Mets cost them Wednesday's game against the Marlins in Miami.

With the game tied, 1-1, in the top of the 10th and the free runner on second base with no one out, Javier Baez hit a fly ball that was dropped -- seemingly in fair territory -- by Marlins right fielder Jesus Sanchez. The ball was ruled foul and a challenge by the Mets was unsuccessful. The Mets did not score in the inning
In the bottom of the 10th, Luis Rojas let Edwin Diaz face Bryan De La Cruz (Miami's best hitter) with two outs and a runner on third base even though Lewin Diaz and his .108 average was on deck. The result was a game-winning hit by De La Cruz
