Houston transfer RB Alton McCaskill flying in for Colorado visit

The top uncommitted transfer portal running back is on his way to Boulder for a visit.

Early Monday Morning, Alton McCaskill tweeted that he was flying in to assumedly check out Colorado and what new head coach Deion Sanders is building. The Houston transfer has been linked to the Buffaloes for a while now after 247Sports reported back in April that CU was the favorite to earn his commitment.

McCaskill rushed for 961 yards and 16 touchdowns during his freshman season and was named the 2021 AAC Rookie of the Year. He, unfortunately, suffered an ACL injury the following spring and was sidelined for all of last season.

McCaskill also recently took visits to Florida and Arizona State.
