For many people, Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end of summer—a time to bid farewell to sunsets by the lake and mid-week picnics before the hustle and bustle of fall (and a new school year) begins for many. Still, just because you’re wrapping up lazy days beneath the sun doesn’t mean that your weekend home improvement projects—both indoors and outdoors—have to be put on pause.
The great news? Home Depot is on board with ensuring weekend warriors can get what they need all throughout Labor Day weekend. As in years past, the home improvement retailer will be observing their typical hours of 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. throughout the holiday weekend, though it’s always a good idea to check with your local store before heading out to shop. Translation: Whether you need charcoal for a backyard BBQ or want to tackle the painting project that’s been on your to-do list all summer, Home Depot is open to help.
Beyond just welcoming shoppers for Labor Day weekend, you can expect Home Depot to pull out all the stops with end-of-summer sales. While they have yet to release the nitty gritty details about this year’s sales, if years past are any indication, things are going to get good. Think: Major discounts on must-have items for prepping your yard for the winter chill (like leaf blowers, compost, and chainsaws), plus home improvement gear like screw guns, paint, ladders, and more. You can also expect some great deals on outdoor furniture as the store makes way for more seasonal stock, so now is the time to jump on a new dining table or all-weather couch if you’ve been contemplating it all summer.
Regardless of whether you plan to party all weekend long this Labor Day or really want to use your bonus day off to make headway on your to-do list, Home Depot will be open and ready to help you get the job done.
