Hokies make top four for Jordan McFadden

Roebuck (S.C.) Dorman 2018 offensive lineman Jordan McFadden has named his top four, and the Hokies make the cut.

Duke, Michigan State, and Rutgers also make the cut for the three-star prospect. Georgia Tech, N.C. State, and UVa are among those that have offered McFadden, but are no longer under consideration.

The 6-4, 280-pounder is one of the most important plays on the Hokies' recruiting board, primarily because they have only a few high-level options on the offensive line that are still seriously considering playing their college ball in Blacksburg. As a three-star and the No. 28 rising senior in South Carolina, McFadden could be one to fill that need.

He's consistently mentioned VT among his favorites, and hopes to take a trip to campus this Summer to get a better feel for the program. If all goes well, it wouldn't surprise to see him commit at that time. Georgia three-star John Harris is currently the only offensive lineman committed in the 2018 class, though VT has a need for four or five signees at the position.
