Hilary Duff has opened up about her recent naked photoshoot, after she appeared completely nude on the cover of Women's Health earlier this month.

The US magazine cover featured the How I Met Your Father actress' naked shoot as part of the brand's Body Issue, with Hilary receiving *tonnes* of praise for the incredible pics.

Now, the actress has spoken candidly about her nude shoot experience, recalling details about what happened on set, as well as her husband Matthew Koma's hilarious response to the snaps.

In a new interview with E! News, Hilary described how she felt during the photoshoot, telling the outlet, "It was pretty scary. I have to admit. I just am not the person that cruises around my house naked, so I was like, 'I take everything off? Like everything comes off?'"

"We kind of did it in parts, and the photographer was amazing," Hilary added, explaining that the process saw her slowly undressing in different stages.

Joking about some potential awkward moments on set, Hilary recalled how the location used for filming was visible from neighbouring houses, adding hilariously, "So I was like, 'I hope there's not kids looking out the window right now, and they're like: Naked lady!'"

Hilary's husband Matthew Koma also had *quite* the reaction to her nude pics, celebrating the shoot in the best way by making the cover snap his profile picture on Instagram. "He was hyping me up for sure," Hilary told E! viewers in response to the sweet/very hilarious move.

Opening up about why she wanted to do the shoot, the actress shared, "I like to scare myself a little bit. It was just a great challenge to take on. I'm really proud of my body and I'm proud that it's produced three kids. So I was just like, 'Let's do something that makes you a little uncomfortable, Hilary, and see where we land.'"
