HIGH SCHOOL SOFTBALL: Odessa High loses lead late against Wolfforth Frenship
Mar. 26—The Odessa High softball team couldn't close out its District 2-6A contest against Wolfforth Frenship, falling 6-4 Friday at the Ratliff Softball Complex.
Odessa High led by three runs before the Lady Tigers brought in three runners in the top of the sixth to tie things up.
The Lady Bronchos briefly regained the lead with a run scored in the bottom of the frame before Wolfforth Frenship took over.
A three-run homer from Makayla Garcia in the top of the seventh helped the Lady Tigers seal the victory.
Odessa High is now 8-7-1 on the season with a 3-3 mark in district play.
