The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 2 is almost over, and there's only one episode left of the explosive reunion. As the ladies unravel all the gossip that's been floating around SLC, star Lisa Barlow is at the center of plenty of accusations.

In an earlier episode, viewers met Lisa's friend Cameron Williams at an event she threw for her son's hair product line, Fresh Wolf. Cameron attended on behalf of Utah Foster Care, according to Bravo, but he stuck around long enough to chat with Meredith Marks about the rumors surrounding Mary Cosby's church.

Cameron told Meredith to "be careful" when dealing with Mary, explaining that he had been a member of Mary's church for seven years before getting “thankfully ...out of that situation," per Bustle. Cameron supposedly gave Mary's church upwards of $300,000, forcing him to mortgage his house, Lisa said. He also mentioned that he'd been “extremely close” with Mary and had watched her and her husband (Robert Cosby, Sr.) do some “very harmful” things to other church members.

Flash forward to this season's reunion, and Mary chose not to attend—in part because of what the ladies knew about Cameron. "The only thing I have to say about the reunion is I didn't go because it was one-sided," she explained during a Twitter Spaces conversation, per E! News. "Everyone heard one side of what they felt... I mean, they told lies, one side of my story."

"And I was not going to get on the reunion for a four-part reunion and talk about this guy who has passed," Mary added, possibly referring to Cameron. As Lisa Barlow also explained at the reunion, Cameron passed away shortly after appearing on the show.

So, what happened to him? Here's what to know:

What was Cameron Williams' cause of death?

Cameron died in June 2021 at the age of 33, according to his obituary. While his official cause of death has not been revealed, his Instagram posts (and Lisa) confirmed that he had a brain tumor, which he had tried to remove via surgery several times.

"I have spent almost the entire month of May in the hospital!" Cameron explained in an old post, noting that he had three brain surgeries in three weeks. The tumor was first discovered when Cameron was 19, running track for Oklahoma University, his obituary added. Cameron is survived by his parents, his twin sister Morgan, and his fiancé Indya.

"This was taken the day before Cameron left to go home to celebrate his birthday in Chicago. I had no idea it would be the last time I saw Cameron. He loved building, helping, growing and has been an amazing brother to me. We love you Cameron," Lisa wrote in an Instagram post on June 3.

"I asked Cameron once to send me ALL of the things he had been working on so I could help him more. This is what he sent to me. He is accomplished, kind, smart, creative- a leader and my friend: He is loved. He will be missed. Proud to call you my friend and brother. @cam.everwoke @wicame I will forever wear shades for you."

Lisa also added a list of Cameron's many accomplishments and leadership positions in and around Salt Lake City.

"Can I just say, I LOVE @lisabarlow14 ! Not just because she is a beautiful person both inside and out. not just because of her incredible style and smile. But because she is a real friend!" Cameron wrote in an Oct. 2020 post. "Thank you @lisabarlow14 for constantly and consistently supporting all communities and being one of the nicest and sweetest people I know!!"
