If you've been in the Washington area lately, you might have happened upon a Capitals mural. There are six in total, each by a different artist and each with its own story. 

Now, the team is inviting fans to visit the murals and share them to Twitter and Instagram using #CapsMurals. Fans who do so will be entered to win prizes.

Here's a guide to each mural, where to find it, and the artist who painted it. 

1335 H St. NE, Washington, D.C. 20002

Washington-based artist Matt Corrado is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design. His murals are inspired by pop art, comic books and skateboarding culture.

1300 Russell St., Baltimore, MD 21230

Zach Shuta is an East Coast illustrator has made a career of sports graphics and other branding design. He's done work for companies like ESPN, The Players Tribute, Vans and Adidas. He's also a contributing designer for Baltimore's Patrick Hovart Design Studio.

Better known as Rob Zilla III, D.C. native Robert Generette III is an accomplished illustrator that uses iPad Pro with Apple Pencil to bring his sports designs to life. His past clients include the NBA, MLB, ESPN, Nike and Adobe.

The artist behind the iconic "LOVE" mural in Washington's Blagden Alley, Lisa Marie Thalhammer focuses on uplifting people through art. A feminist and member of the LGBTQ+ community, Thalhammer aims to spread messages of hope.

Aniekan Udofia lives in the Adams Morgan neighborhood of Washington, but his most famous work is the iconic Ben's Chili Bowl mural on U. St. He has created art for clients like The Source, Vibe, Toyota and American Express.
