Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was injured in a car accident early Tuesday morning, according to police sources reported by TMZ. The second-year player alleged was involved in what’s reported as at least a two-car accident in central Las Vegas around 3:40 a.m. PT.
The Raiders were on bye in Week 8, and are beginning preparations to face the Giants in New York Sunday.

David Charns of CBS affiliate 8 Now News in Las Vegas reported there was a fatality involved, and that Ruggs was impaired at the time of the accident. He reported Ruggs will be charged with DUI resulting in death.
Las Vegas Metro Police confirmed Ruggs was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
