Hendon Hooker ninth in Week 1 College Wire’s Heisman Poll
Tennessee (1-0) defeated Ball State (0-1), 59-10, in Week 1.
Redshirt senior quarterback Hendon Hooker completed 18-of-25 passing attempts for 221 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions.
Hooker recorded 12 rushing yards and two touchdowns on five attempts against the Cardinals.
The 6-foot-4, 218-pound signal-caller totaled 2,945 passing yards, 31 passing touchdowns, three interceptions, 620 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns in 2021 at Tennessee.
