Hearts v Rangers: Team news

On-loan Hearts midfielder Alex Lowry is ineligible to face parent club Rangers. Kyosuke Tagawa has a chance of returning after a hamstring issue.

Craig Gordon (leg) and Craig Halkett (knee) are back in training after lengthy absences but still unavailable for selection, while Nathaniel Atkinson (ankle) and Barrie McKay (knee) are out.

Attacker Tom Lawrence could be added to the Rangers squad after returning to training following a calf problem. Defender Ben Davies missed the win over Dundee in midweek with a small problem and will be assessed.

Midfielder Nicolas Raskin (ankle) , defender John Souttar (muscle problem), striker Kemar Roofe and Rabbi Matondo remain out.
