The Iowa Hawkeyes have landed a commitment from big Wisconsin TE/OL Jack Plumb. The 6-foot-8, 245-pound Plumb announced his decision this afternoon after visiting Iowa City for the Hawkeye Tailgater this past weekend.

"It just felt right when I was on campus," Plumb told HawkeyeReport.com. "The history of the tight end to offensive linemen at Iowa really interested me and the way they were involved from the beginning."

A three-star prospect, Plumb chose Iowa over scholarship offers from Wisconsin, Michigan State, Arizona State, and Minnesota, among others.

Plumb is the ninth commitment for Iowa overall in the Class of 2018 and the third from the state of Wisconsin.
