Things with wide receiver Kelvin Benjamin have finally come full circle. He is a tight end in the NFL… maybe.

Benjamin, 30, hasn’t played in the league since 2018. The Bills then released Benjamin, who was scooped up by the Chiefs, but he never made an impact there.

During his tenure with the Bills, Benjamin’s time is remembered for numerous reasons, among them was a comment on Monday Night Football by ESPN commentator Booger McFarland. McFarland, providing color commentary, caused the internet to blow up when he said Benjamin is “a Popeyes biscuit away from being a tight end.”

A truly amazing moment in sports broadcasting.

And also in terms of fortune telling.

Benjamin is a former first-round pick with a 1,000-yard season. He has talent, but things just fell off for him and injuries didn’t help. But in an effort to make an NFL comeback, Benjamin is currently trying out with the Giants at their rookie minicamp…

Good luck to Benjamin on his NFL comeback trail. Working as a tight end is an interesting prospect for him. He has a 6-foot-5, 245-pound frame, but the position is much more than just catching the ball. It remains to be seen if he has a full skill set for the job.
