Hampshire grad Hannah Ault scores game-high 24 in PSC win over ACM

Feb. 28—CUMBERLAND — Hampshire High graduate Hannah Ault scored a game-high 24 points, leading WVU Potomac State College to a 62-56 win over Allegany College on Saturday.

Ault hit four 3-pointers and recorded five steals for the Catamounts (8-11. 6-8 NJCAA Region 20).

Another Hampshire grad, Liz Pryor, scored 12 points with five rebounds and a steal.

Chelcie Forrester and Kelly Ours each added 10 points. Forrester also had eight rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Ziahya Lomax led the Trojans (5-18, 2-15 Region 20) with 17 points, 10 rebounds, two steals and a block.

Saniya Blakey also had a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and a block.

C'Niyah Turner also recorded 10 rebounds with six rebounds.

The Trojans controlled the glass 51-26.

Potomac State led 13-12 after one quarter and 35-28 at halftime.

Allegany took a 48-44 third quarter lead, but the Catamounts outscored the Trojans 18-8 in the fourth.

Potomac State finishes the regular season at Beaver (Pa.) County on Thursday at 5 p.m.

Allegany's regular season concluded on Saturday.

The Trojans will host the Region 20 tournament on Saturday.
