Halftime buzz: Social media reactions to Auburn’s first half performance

Auburn trails San Jose State at halftime, 10-7 at Jordan-Hare Stadium.

Yes, it is as rough as it seems.

San Jose State has controlled the clock in the first half and has had more success through the air than Auburn has through the first 30 minutes of the contest. Another aspect of the game has been turnovers. In a game that Auburn fans expected to see some separation in the quarterback battle, both T.J. Finley and Robby Ashford have both thrown interceptions in the game.

Penalties have also hindered Auburn’s success as they have been called for eight violations for a total of 76 yards.

As you can imagine, Auburn fans are aggitated with the outcome of the first half. The beautiful thing about living in the year 2022 is that Twitter exists, which allows said fans to vent their frustrations.

Here is how Auburn fans are reacting to their team’s first-half performance.

We will start with the obvious

Another one

Not a bad idea

Definitely did not have that on my bingo board

We just hope to find that feeling again along the way

It has worked for Bryan Harsin in the past

It's a fair question

Have we tried letting Anders Carlson sing another Taylor song?

58 days... why do you ask?

At least we got a great sunset
