The Giants have signed veteran C Jonotthan Harrison to a one-year deal worth $2 million, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Harrison is a man familiar with the New York/New Jersey area, having spent three seasons with the Jets from 2017-19. This past season, Harrison was on the Bills' practice squad after the Jets revamped their O-line and brought in Connor McGovern in free agency
Nick Gates spent his first season as the Giants' center, but some competition is always good heading into training camp. Harrison also has some work at guard, along with Gates, so there's depth either way you look at it.
Spencer Pulley is set to be a free agent as well, making the Harrison signing a reasonable one.
The Florida product has spent six years in the NFL, totaling 84 career games which include his last two seasons in '18 and '19 as the Jets' full-time center.
