Giants DL Leonard Williams had the most dominant game of his season in Week 17 against the Dallas Cowboys, capping off his career year with a performance that has netted him NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors.

Williams was also named DPOW earlier this season after the Giants' win over the Seattle Seahawks

Against Dallas, in a game the Giants needed to keep their playoff hopes alive, Williams registered a career-high 3.0 sacks to bring his total for the season to 11.5. He also had five QB hits.

The 26-year-old Williams, who could be in line for a lucrative extension this offseason, finished his season with 30 QB hits and 57 total tackles in addition to his career-high sack total.

The Giants attempted to extend Williams in the months after trading two draft picks to the Jets for him last season, but were unable to come to an agreement.

With Giants owner John Mara and GM Dave Gettleman set to speak with reporters on Wednesday, Williams' future with Big Blue is sure to come up.
