Giants quarterback Daniel Jones has been ruled out for Sunday's game at the Miami Dolphins, head coach Joe Judge said on Friday.

Jones was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday and Thursday but will miss Week 13's game because he has not yet been cleared for contact, according to Judge.

As far as whether Jones' injury could be season-ending, Judge said there's no decision on that since there's "a gray area" around when Jones could be cleared.

Mike Glennon will get the start in place of Jones against the Dolphins.

Despite being ruled out for Sunday, Jones will travel with the Giants to Miami since they're going from Miami to Arizona, where they'll spend the week before traveling to Los Angeles to face the Chargers next Sunday.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Judge said Jones "looked like Daniel" during practice and that the team was "just waiting on medical opinions right now."

Jones being out is unfortunate both for the Giants' playoff hopes (at 4-7, they're just 1.0 game out of an NFC Wild Card spot) and because they need these games to evaluate him.

INJURY WOES GO BEYOND JONES

In addition to Jones, Adoree' Jackson has also been ruled out for Sunday.

Meanwhile, Kadarius Toney and Sterling Shepard are listed as doubtful.

Nate Solder, John Ross, and Kyle Rudolph are listed as questionable.
