The New York Giants have completely fallen apart in recent weeks and hit a new low this past Sunday when they were dominated by the Chicago Bears and aging backup quarterback Andy Dalton.

The loss dropped the Giants to 4-12 on the season and sparked a wild and, at times, incoherent rant from head coach Joe Judge.

It also left Big Blue to drop one spot to No. 28 overall in the latest USA TODAY power rankings.

28. Giants (27): Over the last five seasons, their 22-58 record is tied for the NFL’s worst – matched only by … the Jets.

The Jets always believed they would eventually climb the ladder and equal the Giants. Instead, the Giants fell down nearly every rung of the ladder and leveled out with the Jets that way.

Comparatively, the Washington Football Team slid two spots to No. 25 overall. They will play the Giants in Week 18.

The Philadelphia Eagles also slid two spots to No. 15 overall, while the Dallas Cowboys plummeted from No. 4 overall to No. 11 overall.

There were no changes at the top or bottom of the power rankings. The Jacksonville Jaguars remain in the basement and the Green Bay Packers remain in the driver’s seat.
